After the Siamese conquered Kedah in 1821, the British felt their interests in Perak to be threatened. This resulted in the 1826 Burney and Low Treaties formalising relations between the two Malay states and Siam, their nominal overlord. In the Burney Treaty, the exiled Kedah sultan Ahmad Tajuddin was not restored to his throne. Sultan Ahmad and his armed supporters then fought unsuccessfully for his restoration over twelve years (1830-1842).

In 1842, the Sultan finally agreed to accept Siamese terms, and was restored to his throne of Kedah. Later, we will concentrate on some of the manufacturing processes used to convert materials into products. But before doing this it is worth touching on some of the wider issues involved with running a successful manufacturing operation.

To consider manufacturing as a whole we clearly have to look beyond specific sets of materials and processes that lead to single products. Viewing manufacturing as a system provides a way of identifying which factors, whether internal or external, are important, and so aid decision making about choosing a particular manufacturing process in a particular situation.

This may sound needlessly complex, but is it? Sometimes the choice of which material and which process to use will not be trivial. Factors such as consumables for the manufacturing equipment, the amount of scrap produced, the speed of the process, the energy required, and so on, all may need to be considered in order to make a sensible decision about the best way of making the final product.
bumdpphttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11821091036895440907noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2679991319353295909.post-946487157843237032009-03-10T08:28:00.000-07:002009-03-11T02:50:42.119-07:00ICT IN GREEN TECHNOLOGY
ICT is an acronym that stands for Information Communications Tecnology.Today, the term information technology has ballooned to encompass many aspects of computing and technology, and the term has become very recognizable. The information technology umbrella can be quite large, covering many fields. IT professionals perform a variety of duties that range from installing applications to designing complex computer networks and information databases. A few of the duties that IT professionals perform may include data management, networking, engineering computer hardware, database and software design, as well as the management and administration of entire systems.
When computer and communications technologies are combined, the result is information technology, or "infotech". Information Technology (IT) is a general term that describes any technology that helps to produce, manipulate, store, communicate, and/or disseminate information. Presumably, when speaking of Information Technology (IT) as a whole, it is noted that the use of computers and information are associated. While ict in green technology is a continuously evolving group of methods and materials, from techniques for generating energy to non-toxic cleaning products. This mean that we use less non-renewable source and more to recycle and protect our world from pollution .Such as we build green building, use solar energy and wind energy in industry or business. And now day green technology can make a busness to country or individual business.bumdpphttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11821091036895440907noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2679991319353295909.post-13487074620802689482009-03-10T07:38:00.001-07:002009-03-10T07:38:49.189-07:00<img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; In its most common usage, "fashion" exemplifies the appearances of clothing, but the term encompasses more. Many fashions are popular in many cultures at any given time. Important is the idea that the course of design and fashion will change more rapidly than the culture as a whole.
The terms "fashionable" and "unfashionable" were employed to describe whether someone or something fits in with the current or even not so current, popular mode of expression. The term "fashion" is frequently used in a positive sense, as a synonym for glamour, beauty and style. In this sense, fashions are a sort of communal art, through which a culture examines its notions of beauty and goodness. The term "fashion" is also sometimes used in a negative sense, as a synonym for fads and trends, and materialism. A number of cities are recognized as global fashion centers and are recognized for their fashion weeks, where designers exhibit their new clothing collections to audiences. These cities are Paris, Milan, New York, and London. Other cities, mainly Los Angeles, Berlin, Tokyo, Rome, Miami, Hong Kong, São Paulo, Sydney, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Madrid, Montreal, Mumbai, Vienna, Auckland, Moscow, New Delhi, San Juan, Stockholm, Turin and Dubai also hold fashion weeks and are better recognized every year.
bumdpphttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11821091036895440907noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2679991319353295909.post-89054020526069734742009-03-05T17:31:00.000-08:002009-03-05T17:32:03.511-08:00bumdpphttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11821091036895440907noreply@blogger.com0
